With summer quickly approaching I wanted to send out a blast with all the events we have planned for the summer so you can start marking your calendars.

June 11th - Happy hour at McCoy located off Excelsior and Grand 4:30-7
        Celebrate the beginning of summer!

June 20th - Saints Game 7:05 "FAMILY EVENT"
        Join fellow Penn Staters in the family section at the St. Paul Saints game contact Mike at mch174@psualum.com to reserve your seats. Adults are $5 and kids are $4 hope to see you there

August 3rd- Annual BBQ/Freshman Sendoff Picnic 3pm-6pm "FAMILY EVENT"
        Bring the whole family and Join fellow alum as we celebrate the new school year with students and their families. We will be grilling up a storm and playing lots of yard games. The Daniel S. Johnson Scholarship to one of our students. Please RSVP to Marilyn at President@psumn.com if you are planning to attend. More details to come.

August 23rd - Annual Big Ten Softball Tournament: All day (at least 3 games)
        Come out and have fun with fellow Penn Staters, Watch or play we love all the support we can get. Contact president@psumn.com if you want to sign up to play. This event has always been a great time, and we look forward to seeing you there in your Blue and White!

August 30th - TGIFS: "Thank Goodness it's Football Season"
        Watch as Penn State kicks off their season against Costal Carolina. Join us for the first game of the season at Majors sports bar in Golden Valley 6440 Wayzata Boulevard Golden Valley, MN 55426

2008 Daniel S. Johnson Memorial Scholarship Applications MS Word Format PDF Format

    We are thrilled to announce that the 2007 Daniel S. Johnson Memorial Scholarship Award recipient is William Oblak. He is a freshman majoring in engineering at University Park. He is a 2007 graduate of Lakeville North High School. He was one of 8 applicants that were all very excellent candidates. William is planning to fulfill his 4 year ROTC commitment to his country upon graduation from Penn State. He has an interest in exploring a career that is rewarding and challenging that may or may not be in the military..
